Bought this direct from Magix using their £10 off voucher after purchasing Music Maker 16. I needed more soundpools because there are not enough on any Music Maker programme to make any serious music. I understand that this is the only collection of soundpools compatable with Windows 7 so had no other choice but to buy it if I wished to expand my range. Seemed to download ok once I got the hang of how to do it (my first experience of Magix Music maker or soundpools) All was fine using these sounds until I counted how many were showing in the Magix soundpool screen, there were only eight not ten. Re loaded the whole thing several times, and could see that the missing sounds were Africa and Techno both of which had downloaded from the disc to my hard drive but would not show in the soundpool list in Music Maker. Got fed up and so went onto the magix web site forum and the only person with a question regarding The best of Soundpools had the same problem, no Africa and no Techno! (There is a way to get at them and use them within Music Maker 16 but thats not the point)
As far as I can see there must be a problem with this software and although I am enjoying using what I have managed to load, be warned, If you want what you are paying for you may not get it! Somebody will probably answer this and tell me the complicated version of how this can be downloaded, don't bother, been there, done that, would expect this to work direct from the disc!!
Hope if you have already purchased yours works, would be interested to know. Gave it three stars because what does work is good, enjoy...
