I took ages to decide on a food processor and eventually plumped for the Magimix 3200. I was a bit put off by the price when there seemed to be other brand processors which did the same sort of thing for a lot less money. Glad I did! I've been using the Magimix for a couple of months now and it's proved a real help in the kitchen. I've made great pastry, sponges and cakes, and loads of chopping and slicing for stews, soups, etc. It doesn't come with as many attachments as a lot of cheaper processors but in my opinion you only really need a decent blade in the main bowl for most jobs. I've hardly used the mini and midi bowls. It recommends that you start with the smallest bowl but I've found that if you use the smallest one first it usually blasts flour or whatever you are using into the other bowls anyway so you end up having to wash all three. All attachments are really good quality and seem durable. It somes with a storage box which is essential as blades very sharp. The 3200 seems adequate for my family 2 adults and 3 children (aged 7-2). You will need to find a permanent spot on your kitchen work top as it's definitely not one for taking in and out of the cupboard - quite heavy and big. Easy to clean bowls and wipe clean processor. I was really afraid that this would be the kind of gadget that was loads of trouble to clean and you'd end up with tons of bits to wash so it would become a real pain and end up relegated to the back of the cupboard but that's definitely not the case so far.
