Thoroughly impressed with this bit of kit I can hardly complain, yes I was skeptical at first about forking out the extra cash after my previous lower end model have packed in but totally worth it!

The power of this beast is second to none well maybe your Vita-mix and blender-tec p(I think it's called)but they are commercial and over twice the price. I don't even need the added mill attachment to grind up my nuts I just stick them in my smoothie and voila! I couldn't believe it.

Noise wise it's not overly noisy compared to others but still a tad noisy given the power thou its over fairly quickly and importantly no lumps so I can't dock it points on that!

Cleaning is fairly straight forward blades unscrew easily no qualms can be a bit giddily clean right in the corners sometimes thou...

I have noticed as well as a few over users of the burning smell which got me worried! But it doesn't seem to of effected anything maybe it because it new but who knows?

Over all highly impressed though I just noticed as I'm writing this review it's dropped in price by £30 but still worth every penny.

We are absolutely delighted with this Magimix, and I have made exactly the same as I did with the Vitamix.... ice cream, sorbets, soups, smoothies etc., I consider this Magimix to be superior. It's not as noisy as a Vitamix, it has various settings for 'automatic' smoothies, soups, ice cream and more importantly the bottom of the glass jug unscrews and comes apart so it can be washed properly if needed, the Vitamix does not. I prefer the glass jug and it is more substantial and easier to dry. I also prefer the way the lid fits with or without the spatula. Magimix has spare parts that are very reasonably priced if needed. I had the Vitamix from a shopping channel and it had a 5 year guarantee...... but having read some terrible reviews regarding their customer service .... there doesn't seem much point !!! My Magimix has a 3 year guarantee and was a third of the cost of the Vitamix, my Magimix is quieter, it doesn't have a burning smell the Vitamix had(which is one of reasons it was returned.......AND....the Magimix doesn't frighten our dog into leaving the kitchen.

Absolutely love this blender, before it arrived i had been really getting into making green juices with my Juice Producer juicer, then i bought this and wow it is so wonderful and so quick and easy to make a green smoothy and they taste great. I put loads of greens in such as spinach, kale, parsley or whatever i have then a few bannanas and mangoes some water and whatever else i fancy, blend it up and it tastes fabulous, I can barely taste that it is packed with raw greens and i been feeling great for it, some days i just have smoothies all day. It is definately the best purchase i have made. If your looking for a heavy duty blender thats reasonably priced, i feel this is it. I was wanting to save up and buy a Vitamix, but i am so very happy with this one, great for smooth soups too.
Plus its very easy to clean and to operate.

I bought a Magimix blender (Le Blender + Mill) and all i can say is that it's amazing, i don't remember buying a kitchen appliance and be so marveled by it's functional design details, solutions and performance. Looks like something made by Apple. Very happy customer.

I use this everyday - I plan a visit to the fruit market every Tuesday specially to get fruit to put through this machine. Machine is heavy and sturdy. Does not move during use. It is easy to clean. I would recommend a full clean after every use because it is actually so easy to clean. There is so much you can do with this.

I boil peas for like 3 mins then out them in the mill with a bit of salt pepper and olive oil. Sweat tasting mushy peas you get.

In the mill i did try to break down some black pepper balls but they did not crush fully - had to use my old delonghi mill

I recommend trying soya milk in your smoothies sometimes instead of water

People complain about a burning smell...I have smelt it but very rarely.

Only use the highest setting (4) if you need it -

Jug is made of good quality glass - I've hit it accidentally of tap sometimes when washing it - feels very strong

This thing would not fail you - its a bad boy

I was almost sold on Vitamix till I discovered the Vitamix container they sell in the UK contains BPA, and to get there alternative poly-carbon free container was going to cost an additional £100 on the already crazy price of the blender. While looking for a polycarbonate free blender I found this with it's large heatproof glass jug.

After reading a bunch of reviews and watching a couple of vid's I picked up my Magimix for £150 less that half of the cost of the Vitamix and I'm so pleased I did.

I've had it about a month now and it's used at least once every day, the motor dose have a slight smell but not anything that concerns me.

It copes great with frozen fruit/ice, chews happily threw half an apple or a whole carrot/banana, stringy veg like celery/spinach cause it no issues.

We have made instant soups with veg and boiling water from the kettle, creamy soups with roasted veg and boiling water are heavenly and 'raw' soup are easy too blend and can just be warmed in a pan after.

The frozen deserts and crushed ice feature works great too.

The grinder is great for dry grinding spices/nuts or making oat flour.
The only con is wet items in the grinder, the mill blades seem to far from the base so I found I was left with large lumps in what I was mixing. As I wanted the mill attachment for dry items this hasn't really bothered me.

The blender is a great shape and size, fits easily under the counter and is easy to clean and operate. The jug is heavy but not to heavy. It has a nice solid feel to it and it's reassuring to know it's not contaminating the food we prepare in it :)
