We bought the first kettle in Peter Jones. The lid would not open after a weeks use so we had it replaced. Then arriving home with the replacement it switched off just after I switched it on. I returned to Peter Jones who then told me to get a different kettle as they had quite a few complaints. I thought 3rd time lucky and got another replacement against his advice. (I like the design of this kettle alot!) Then after arriving home the lid would not close!! I could barely belive my own eyes. The last kettle I had cost £11 and lasted 15 years. This very expensive kettle - well quite frankly is costing me a fotune in travel expences....don't buy it!

Bought this from John Lewis 2 years ago and it is now rusty and leaks around the bottom, looking for replacement. Not worth the money!

This kettle looks lovely. However, it develops rust inside the lid and on the outside. Also the lid doesn;t open every time.

Am now on my 4th replacement kettle.
The 2nd one wouldn't switch on every time; the third leaked water
I am running out of warranty and soon will have no kettle

full of design faults
