The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh was a cartoon series that premiered in 1988 on The Disney Channel. 13 episodes aired before the show moved to ABC in the fall of 1988. Each episode was either a full length story that covered the entire episode, or two short stories that filled the episode. Season 1 had 22 episodes, Season 2 had 10 episodes, Season 3 had 10 episodes and Season 4 had 8 episodes, totaling 50 episodes and concluding in 1991.

The series was then followed by a number of specials. In order, these were Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too in 1991, Boo To You! Winnie the Pooh in 1996, A Winnie the Pooh Thanksgiving in 1998, Winnie the Pooh: A Valentine for You in 1999 and Winnie the Pooh; A Very Merry Pooh Year in 2002.

As of 2012, Disney has yet to release the show as a complete series. The majority of episodes have however been released in various collections over the years on VHS and DVD in the UK and US.

This DVD is called The Magical World of Winnie the Pooh: Share Your World and is Volume 7 and the penultimate video in The Magical World of Winnie the Pooh DVD series. The next and final volume is Magical World Of Winnie The Pooh - Vol. 8 - Growing Up With Pooh [DVD]. The previous volume is Magical World Of Winnie The Pooh - Vol. 6 - Love And Friendship [DVD].

Episodes include:

To Catch a Hiccup (Episode 23-2)
Owl's Well That Ends Well (Episode 50-2 - the final New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh story!)
Lights Out (Episode 20-1)
The Rats Who Came to Dinner (Episode 17-2)

Awful transfer! 1 Dec 2007
Format:DVD
We actually got this free with a Winnie the Pooh soft toy, but we were very disappointed with the picture quality. For a DVD it really is quite appalling, worse than VHS! There's little wrong with the actual cartoons, and my daughter very much enjoys them, but we limit her veiwing of this disc as its fuzzy transfer is actually hard on the eyes. I would have been very disappointed if I had paid money for this - so take note if you are thinking of doing just that.
