Product Description

Review

'This book shows you how to make really beautiful window stars out of coloured tissue paper. There are nice clear instructions for twenty five different stars and when you put them up at the window the effect is lovely. I really enjoyed creating lots of different designs. Some of them I used not just for window decorations but by making smaller ones and putting them between clear plastic I created my own cards to send to people.' -- Jenny, age 12, Education Otherwise, December 2005

Product Description

Using special paper-folding techniques, coloured tissue paper can be transformed into magical window stars, suitable for any season. This book contains step-by-step instructions for making 25 window stars. Each design is graded for difficulty, to allow the beginner to progress easily and confidently. Frederique Gueret also shows how the stars can be painted with additional colour accents which, when the light shines through in a certain way, create a dazzling veined effect.

Pure Bliss 4 Mar 2008

Magical Window Stars are just deligtful! I've never seen anything like these and now that I've learned how to make them I want to give them to EVERYONE, I feel like there is no window too small or too simple to host one, and they are BEAUTIFUL! While the photos in the book are wonderful they do not do justice to how beautiful these stars look when hanging in a sunny window. Buy this book and you'll be completely enchanted!

This book is perfect for those who either just starting to learn how to fold or for those have lots of experience. Love this book and use it often since I make stars for my classroom.
