very enjoyable 5 Feb 2006
Format:Paperback
woulderfull meditations for all the seasonal celebrations and certaily well worth trying.
however for people who do like vegue discriptions this might be thr wrong choice. all meditaions are discribed to the very last detail and hence are wonderfull for newbees who still develop their imagination. the meditations are very enjoyable but you can not bring in much from your own ideas.

as the book suggests it is directed to the pagan comunity hence anyone who does not travel on one of the many pagan paths might find it difficult to relate to the meditations.

a warning to those who wish to use it, although i would say evryone should get this book alone for the entertaiment value of the beltaine meditation it is not easy to read it to an audience with a straight face ;-) wonderful meditaion but do not expect that to many would feel comftable to reflect on this one...

Beltane is a bit explicit, Lughnasadh is a bit violent- no problem to read in a book (especially a trashy airport novel!) but not great to visualise when you're in a meditative trance and vulnerable to suggestion. Also featuring unicorns, Pegasus- not really my kind of thing. And the scenes are over described; there's no room for you to imagine things for yourself. Interpreting the images I create in visualisation is part of the point for me, so this book wouldn't be my choice. I felt it was written for someone quite different from me and perhaps someone older than I am.

Great meditations i just wish it came with a cd, but it's ok because you can just read it out and record it on your phone then you can play it back whenever you like. Brilliant for any pagan or any spiritual person.
