this story is an animated, magical legend of the origin of Leprechauns. it suits both children and adults alike and it can be found enjoyable by the whole family. it is a mivture of irish folk law and shakespears familiar tale of romeo and juliet. it enhances the mind and imagination of all viewers...a deffinet 'must see'!

A rather magical film,

First off this is not a film to be taken seriously, I've seen it trashed on many forums for the stereotypes (which it has to be said are many) ranging from drunken Leprechauns, to butter obsessed English Fey. But the thing that has passed unmentioned by all these people is that overall this is a rather wonderful film. It's beautiful, fanciful and has moments of both hilarity and tenderness. This is the sort of film that you could quite happily curl up and watch on a winter afternoon with a big mug of hot chocolate. Magical Legend of the Leprechauns is a delightful piece of fantasy escapism that doesn't try to pretend to be something it's not. It's just a little slice of magic with a wonderful star filled cast.

When is this being released on Region 2 DVD??!?,

I first saw this film on the Hallmark channel about two years ago and fell in love with it. Everything about the production is enchanting (Jessica: 'It's only a gift of words that you shower me, but I have to say that they shine.' Mickey: 'Oh you shine, princess mine, you shine!' ) and suitable for both children and adults alike. I've since been trying to get hold of it on DVD (reg 2), as my video is getting old and battered, but it seems to only be available on Region 1 format. Anyone with any idea as to when this will be happening, or if it's available already, please post a message on here!!!!
