The Magic Circle Close-up Magician of The Year 1996 Nicholas is one of the
UK's busiest magicians and as well as performing at events and parties
throughout Europe he also uses his magic to build crowds for some of the
world's largest companies at business trade shows and exhibitions around
the globe. Nicholas is a frequent performer at celebrity parties, has many
TV credits to his name and is regularly invited to lecture at magic
societies and conventions the world over. As a magic consultant, Nicholas
has designed and created the special effects for several large-scale stage
productions, including The Canterville Ghost, Cinderella and The Old Vic's
Aladdin, as well as being a consultant on the film Bright Young Things,
directed by Stephen Fry. He also develops and markets new magic effects for
the magic fraternity. To date his illusions have been purchased and
performed by magicians all over the world, including some of the biggest

I had the wit to give this book to my grandson aged 11. He's thrilled to bits with its content and interest. Readers and students of this book who follow its suggestions will discover enhanced dexterity and new social acceptance as well for the tricks and illusions are highly entertaining. The illustrations are clear, the directions are simple and the style appeals straight away. Stay with it. You will learn to draw on your reserves of patience and perseverance. In short, it's magic.

In the process of looking for the right material to teach for magic classes, I came upon this book. While skimming through it I found at least 25 great effects that are easy to make, easy to learn, and easy to perform. Plus, all of these are real foolers, in that they will fool those that they are shown to.
This book is exactly what I was looking for, and maybe you are too.
