Amazon Verified Purchase
I ordered this radio with some trepidation. I really wanted to order the Pure Mini, but was put off by the price and the fact that you had to buy a separate battery pack as well. I didn't want to spend an excessive amount, so I risked it and ordered the MagicBox. It arrived very quickly from the Amazon Marketplace seller and was securely packaged. I unpacked it and was surprised by just how compact a radio it was. I plugged it in, started the autotune and it quickly found all the available stations that my old radio found. I chose my usual station and was amazed at the sound quality! Very clear treble, no hiss or distortion and remarkably good bass for such a small radio. I'm very impressed also with the build quality, it has a very good case that feels very sturdy, the aerial also feels quite sturdy. Overall, it feels as if it will stand up to use over an extended period. After seeing and hearing this radio I can't see any reason to spend any more money, unless it's just to pose and impress other people! As to the colour - it's a present for my wife ;-) but, after hearing it, I might keep it for myself!

Despite its garish colour (though the girls do love it) this refreshing cheap DAB radio picks up stations easily and delivers a clear-as-a-bell signal. Great value for money.

Neat little radio!
I like this radio and the sound is pretty good for the price paid. Find the controls a bit difficult to master, but haven't yet had time to concentrate on them - will persevere!

Good for the lab
