I loved this!!! Episodes of The Magic Roundabout always seemed too short so I was glad to discover this. The plot of good against evil is simple and straightforward but can still entertain adults. I think it can be enjoyed by anyone,(particularly those who love Dougal!) whether discovering The Magic Roundabout for the first time or having grown up with it. ..

For those of you who remember the five minute shorts that preceded the news in the 1960's and 1970's with nostalgia, this film will bring back many happy memories. As with the original, the English dialogue (by Eric Thompson, father of Emma) is very witty and the characterisation exellent. After the gap of so many years, I was surprised by the slightly hippy, psychadelic feel about it: in this respect, it showed its age. I have not viewed it with any children yet although I am sure that they would enjoy the good versus evil plot line and the very human characters of Dougal, Florence, Zebedee et al.

Wow - I watched this and I was back 25 years, singing along like it was yesterday! That horrible noise from Dougal's dream still scares the crap outta me though.....
