This book is well written and nicely laid out. The manual that comes with the camera contains pretty much the same information, but the layout of the manual is poor, with small type and black and white photos. This book on the other hand has good use of colour and explains the complexities of the Olympus Pen very well. You get some hints and tips on general photography technique along the way too. A thoroughly worthwhile companion for your Olympus PEN EP1 - It would probably also be useful if you have an EP2 as many of the features of both models are the same.

This has proved to be a very helpful book. It covers the basic knowledge required to get up and running. I found it best to read through without the camera first then to follow it with the E-P1.

What a major improvement on the official technical booklet provided with the camera.
Amazing the extra information that can be obtained and, more importantly, can be put to use the next time you take some photographs.

Good all round information, I really wanted something more for the beginner this is for people who already understand photography, but it does have lots of info.
