My first ever review of any purchase so I'll do my best to stick to the relevant points,
I was looking to buy myself an upgrade to my current Powershot model (A650 is) and decided the way
forward was the G12, so I bought this Guide book 2 weeks before I actually bought the camera.
Two reasons for this firstly to familiarise myself with all the functions and dials and
secondly if after reading it I may decide not to buy the camera after all thinking not enough improvements to justify the cost.
and I am glad I made the decision to buy both the Camera and the book
Why I am writing this review?,well because this book is everything it should be and more a very clear explanation of all the
control dial and functions explained in a clear concise manner without over complicating things and crammed with hints and tips
to get get you taking better Photographs right away notice I said Photographs and not snaps, because that what this camera
and this book working together will help you to do.
It's a real no brainer in buying this book,"got the camera" then buy the book believe me you will be glad you did
by the way Amazon were by far the cheapest re seller of this book

Bought this after consulting other purchasers reviews on Amazon.
If you have a CD ROM guide that came with the camera, chuck it away and for not many of your English pounds, buy this book.
Written very well for a generally complex digital camera by a person who seems well aquainted with its workings.
As well as the general camera controls and features he will tell you about things you may not know and explain them in a way you can understand.
Excellent guide.

Bought this because there is no hardcopy manual with the camera. It's reasonably priced and has all the information needed to use the camera. It's a nice size and easily fits into the kit bag.

Very good book, a quick reference guide rather than using the manual CD, colour pictures helps and in depth layouts and functions overall not bad for the price worth a read.
