I started collecting magic with this product last week,
it seemed at first to be very versatile for building many types of decks,
however I received so many different cards, that I had barely any duplicates
This meant building a reliable deck with a specific aim is damn near impossible.
Which is something the deck building guide tries to explain.
Although it seems a great way to start a collection, comes in a nice box, with a deck building guide, and how to play instructions, and is an instant collection, it doesn't really help you build a solid deck. However, considering it includes four boosters, which to buy by themselves would cost over £10 this is a really great value product. It might be better to buy an intro deck, and start from there, using this kit to help you start fine tuning.

What more could you ask for? Lots of land, lots of random spells and booster packs thrown in too.
The "how to play" sheet is a little sparse on information if you've never played before but there are some useful videos on the website.

Bought this product about two weeks ago, had plenty of fun with it and the value for money is superb. Magic The Gathering is a very addictive game; the rules are a bit difficult to get your head around at first but after playing a few practice games and using the game's website a friend and I figured it all out (this product does come with a sheet with the rules on, but I found the website to be more detailed; this can be accessed for free).
With 285 cards, it's possible to make 4 pretty well balanced decks, so you can play a game with 2-4 players straightaway without having to buy any more cards. Two against two games are especially fun. When you get bored with your deck (Though I haven't yet!) you can always mix it up with some different cards. The thought required to build a good deck as well as the strategy involved in the game make it enjoyable and stimulating for players of any age.

Great Product
It's a really usefull tool for getting into magic. The cards it comes with are good in any deck and the 4 booster packs would run you up to £12 alone so this is a steal.
