I purchased the single unit version of this model and was very pleased with it for the first 6 months. I run a mobile phone shop and it looked the part as it resembled a Motorola flip-phone. The housing is a little 'plasticy' but is ok to handle.
Almost 6 months to the day, it started to forget the time and kept displaying 12:00 and flash.
Then, all of a sudden, the display would stay on constantly with a full black lcd and then would not answer calls and not charge. I replaced the rechargeable batteries but this made no difference.
I have seen this item advertised before with faults and thought this was maybe mis-use of the unit but basically, in summary, the handset is not practicle for business use and more for the occassional domestic use as it obviously only has a limited number of calls it can make and/or receive before developing faults. Don't do as I did and rush out and buy it.......

Having owned this phone for six months and having to replace it as my wife has lost handset #2, I thought this would be the ideal time to reflect !
Yes it looks nice, but the touch sensitive phone controls are unpleasant to use and put a major dampener on owning the phone. Sound quality and handset range are all fine. The answering function works OK, but I can't wait to get back to a phone with real buttons again. I think Siemens will be my next port of call.

i bought the non-answering machine version (single unit) from high street store sometime ago as i was bowled over by its looks. i was told that the sound quality is very good. ALAS! this wasnt true. the phone looks and feels good. anyone who looked at it was impressed by its gorgeous looks.
the biggest problem is that the sound quality is rubbish. u can not hear the caller clearly and if u r having a party then forget about understanding a word the caller is saying. the speaker phone function is handy but again its not loud enough.
the other problem is that since its a touch interface when u press it against your ear u can easily press a button and can hear the tone and sometimes u can even turn it off accidentally.
2 stars for the looks only, otherwise avoid. dont waste ur money on this.
