I think I have a copy of every book Maeve Binchy has written, I am a great fan, her characters come to life and I get lost in the stories. This adaptation of her work does not do it justice, it is lacklustre, boring and depressing, very obviously a low budget adaptation. Sorry Maeve you deserve a lot better.

An unusual story from Maeve Binchey, set in Cape Town, with excellent shots of the area in this DVD.It departs from the well tried and popular theme of Irish domestic drama and transports the reader to contemporary South Africa most convincingly.
