I bought this book thinking it would be a book on indian cookery. Unfortunately it isn't. It's a book on the cook's choices from around the world. Thus it doesn't fit into any category. There are japanese, persian, scottish, jewish etc. Seems quite good but not what I was looking for at all.

not as good as her other books 22 Mar. 2013

Don't get me wrong. I love this author. That being said, this is not up to par with her others that I own. This book has menus, menus that frankly, are pretty unappetizing in my opinion. Save your money and purchase another of her books. An invitation to Indian cooking, is a classic as well as a must have. Grab that one instead. This one doesn't have nearly as many recipes either.
