The book by Ewen Chia is good on marketing theory but is not self contained in that the nuts and bolts of setting oneself up - how to produce sign up pages for example - are not covered. I think it's being missold in the title.

Good book for inspiring you to get started and is helpful to get set up with the basics. Is more about mini websites and selling a product of the back of that than setting up a larger website and branching into affiliate marketing for example. This book's title could be "Affiliate marketing for dummies". It gives insights on how people were making some money from affiliate marketing in the past. It needs to be updated with the latest trends such as social networking.
