I purchased this book as a present for my daughter's 7th birthday.
The book is delightful, with a wide selection of projects to embroider, sew and knit. The instructions are clear, easy to follow and quite inspiring.
If you would like to introduce your child to the joys of crafting then this book is for you. I would have absolutely loved to have owned this as a child, and am sure that my daughter will be refering to it for years to come.

This book takes an absolute beginner through the process of making things yourself - sewing and knitting. Simple clear instructions, good diagrams and fantastic inspirational photos of finished products. It's hard to know what to make first - and great for keeping traditional sewing skills alive!

This book is great. I & my girls aged 8 & 10 have made things from this book. I love the little cupcakes & my eldest daughter has been making the key lockets for everyone. It's great as they can do things by themselves, with out much help at all. So leaving you free to make your own things & they get a massive sense of achievement knowing that Mum didn't have to step in!!
