Fun:
Ive had this station for a couple of months now and find it superb for storing your wii motes and nunchucks,it also charges your wii motes and has a cooling fan.The reason I give it four stars only is:
- It comes with 2 pairs of rechargeble batteries enclosed in a white shell, where the batteries cannot be replaced.
- even though it is a practical solution for the Wii,Im not too impressed with the design, but this is my opinion.
-The manufactures should have given the option to switch the blue light on or off as it continously stays on.
-You will need to buy a pair of penlight batteries for the cooling fan.

On the positive side this station will keep your Wii area tidy and charged no doubt.A tip for storing your nunchucks is to rap the nunchuck cord round your finger and then insert the cord curled up in the nunchuck slot first with the usb connection sticking out through the slot provided and the nunchuck will sit in position easily.

Techinically speaking the stand is brilliant, and for the money you're paying for it, you couldn't really ask for more.

The nunchuck holders were a brilliant idea as well as the LED lights to show how much the remotes had charged up. These turned from red to orange to green once the remotes were fully charged.

I also liked the blue LED stripe around the stand, but this is where the stand becomes a slight let down. There's only one switch at the back of the unit to control everything. So, you decide that you want to turn on this blue LED band... well, the only way to do that is by turning on the fan first and then fullying flipping the switch to enable the LED to light up.

This wouldn't be so much of a problem but the fan is really quite noisy and unless you turn the sound up on you TV really quite loud, you'll have a constant whirring sound drowning out your game audio.

Other than that, this stand was a pretty good buy.

Hope this review helps.

Fun:
Does what it says on the box. I agree at first the fan seems to be a little noisy but you don't even notice once you get well into playing a good game. Nice blue lights on both sides look very cool and add to that "this should become one with the Wii" as it does look like an item Nintendo would have made.

The Dual Charging Fan stand takes it's power from the Nintendo power supply using a pass through and not a USB port leaving those free. No wires you just slip the Wii into the unit connect the power supply cable and that's it.

The battery charging lights show red for charging then green for charged, but while the Wii remotes are not placed on charge they both show green until you place the remote that's when they show red or green.

This is a very well built and sturdy unit from one of the best brands around Mad Catz.

This should cost a lot more and at this price it's a steal.

Didn't work and didn't look like image advertised
When this arrived, it was a disappointment. In the image in the product description, the lights on either side of the stand were light blue, and you could turn the light off. Read more

Not the official Madcatz item! BEWARE!
Received a similar item by 'PEGA' - not the Madcatz one pictured! Similar but no nunchuk holders, and only a simple on/off switch on the back. Read more

Pretty good
works well, charges really quickly, no problems so far. Far better than paying out for batteries.
Only downside is that you have to take skins off to charge.

WIi charger
A good product that does what is says. Fan is quite and the light can be turned off. The only fault I would give is that the WII covers do not fit. Fast delivery.
