"madame Loiuse" starrring Richard Hearne and Petula Clark is a 1951 british comedy, that really must be seen to appreciate the slice of an everyday life that has disappeared for ever. Clarke and Heane are employed at a dress shop but life takes on a surprising turn when the lady owning the shop, loses it to her bookie. the film is fun without being course, and of a depth to keep you amused without having to follow a too convoluted plot. very, very enjoyable and extremely good value. one for the late night/rainy day cupboard.
