Book Description

25 Jun 2001
Bryn Parry is one of Britain's best known countryside cartoonists. His cartoons appear in the 'Shooting Gazette' each month and he has illustrated countless products with his witty, detailed and perceptive pictures. His cartoons capture the fun and frustration felt by field sportsmen as they enjoy their sport with their not-so-faithful canine companions. "Mad Dogs and Englishmen" is a collection of Bryn's shooting and dog cartoons. It give an insight into a world that can really only be understood by a pariticpant for whom it is more than a sport; it is a way of life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mad Dogs and Englishmen 20 Nov 2002
By A Customer
Format:Hardcover
Mad Dogs and Englishmen is a simply brilliant compilation of sporting cartoons. The Shooting Types characters, as featured in The Shooting Gazette each month, are hilarious and supurbly captured through Giles Catchpoles texts. I would recommend it to anyone who appreciates humour at it's best!

Bryn Parry is without doubt the most talented and humourous sporting cartoonist in Britain, as well as being a bloody nice bloke!
