4.0 out of 5 stars Best mad book about the eighties. 6 Jan 2003
Format:Paperback
This installment in the 'Mad about the' decade series really act as a wonderful time piece. The main films satires cover the following range from Bleak to the Future, Dorky Dancing, Feeble Attraction, and Flash-dance to Q.T: The Quasi-Terrestrial, Raiders of the Lost Art, Star Bores: Re-hash of the Jedi, and Top Gunk. Also the television parodies of the Clodsby Show, Grossanne, LA Lewd, M*U*S*H, Thirtysuffering, and the We'll Make a Fortune. Of course, all the regular articles, which are usually much funnier are also included. This time round they are still printing a page explanation of the next section, followed by colour inserts of the covers, front and back. Well worth buying for toilet reading.
