Don't want to create HTML5 websites? No problem! MacFlux can handle standard HTML, PHP, Ruby, JSP and more.
MacFlux has an amazing WYSIWYG rendering engine, which means you can drag, stretch, and move objects like you can in a desktop publishing application, and your webpages will look exactly how you intended. MacFlux will generate all the code for you, with no unneccesary tags.
If you're already a pro and would prefer to type your code, you can do that too. The objects you create in the Code Editor will appear on the page as soon as you stop typing, they can then be edited using the WYSIWYG display.

Be aware that this item is MacFlux Version 3. I was somewhat upset to realise that Version 4 was released in-between placing the order and receiving the software through the post. I could have returned it but I opened, loaded and registered the software before I realised that I did not have an up-to-date version. Nowhere in the advertising or packaging does it state what version of the software is in the box.
This is very powerful software, Similar in many ways to Dreamweaver. It is not really an alternative to Rapidweaver or Sandbox because the depth of knowledge required to make a web site with MacFlux is far greater. For ex Dreamweaver users who have been priced out of the Adobe fold it is well worth having, and I have never found any web authoring software for the Mac so comprehensive. If you have previously only used the likes of iWeb this program will test your patience to the limit as there is very little in the way of tutorials or guidance.
Very good for experienced web editors, but too complicated for for beginners.
UPDATE. I emailed the the company who wrote the software and they immediately sent me a free upgrade key. Fantastic customer service - I have upped my review to 5 stars.
