5.0 out of 5 stars An ideal learning tool that is NOT for kids only 9 July 1998
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
I have put off learning how to write macros in MS Word for longer than I care to admit because I figuired it was as convoluted as writing MS EXCEL macros. On a lark I ordered this book and am I glad that I did. I am recommending this book to a number of people, some kids and some who act like kids. Laura Edge's examples are geared to kids but it is easy to create non-kid examples based on her ideas. This is a perfect easy to understand introduction to macro writing.
I wish this book had been around a long time ago.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a worthwhile buy 3 April 2004
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I bought this at a yard sale and I didnt like it. I took it to the store and they wouldnt replace it. So I decided to read it. It was ok. Just ok. I did'nt learn anything worthwhile but for someone who knows absolutely nothing about word might learn something. The kid interface was a nice feature though you can tell they used terms from way back when (circa 1970s)like groovy and stuff. I give it a dissapointing 3 out of 5.
