Excellent first Album. Obviously the CD includes a number of covers but a varied selection well sung and presented makes them most enjoyable.
Inevitably the MacDonald Bros will suffer from the paradox that is having success on a popular audience participation show like X-Factor which then leads the music establishment not to take what they do seriously.
If they are not taken seriously it will be a big mistake because the most significant aspect of this CD is the three new bonus tracks which are absolutely brilliant and in two cases written by the boys. "Love is Blind" and "With A Woman Like You" are outstanding ballads that Marti Pellow could not have bettered."Now It's Time" particularly shows the boys talent for harmonies. Let's hope they get the chance to show what they can do as the best is yet to come. So buy the CD and get requesting these songs on the radio.

I've been waiting for this since they were on the X Factor, and I'm especially pleased to hear 500 Miles again! I got the second last Mac Bros cd in the shop, as apparently they've been selling like hot cakes. If you liked them on the X Factor you'll like this CD.

Being a huge fan of Craig and Brian MacDonald from the very beginning of X Factor 2006!! I couldnt wait for this to be released and bought it on the day it came out!
I love this album, its never off my cd player and whenever I have a spare moment I listen to as many songs on it as I can. My favourite songs however, are Love Is Blind, Now Its Time, Shang a Lang and ofcourse 500 Miles!!
The guys have done really well, Number 1 in the Scottish album charts! welldone boys!! looking forward to many more to come. xx
