I have a Mac iBook G4 and was very doubtful as to whether I would find a suitable web cam for this machine.
We enquired through many friends and so called 'experts' and got many negative results. However, we used our own judgement and went ahead with the purchase. As our iBook has a built in microphone we were unsure whether we could switch off the web cam mic. However, no problem here, but you do need a USB2 port to drive the unit.
We have been very pleased with it, it is white and blends in nicely with our unit.
It gives a very clear picture, easy to set up and all our original fears have been dispelled.
If you are thinking of buying one, go for it, you will not be disappointed.

I was initially impressed with this product, but as the sun went in, the picture went very dark - it does not perform well in low light conditions. Even with the room lights switched on, I had to fit a higher wattage bulb for the camera to get enough light.
The inbuilt mic (which I don't normally use) was a bit muffled, and picked up interference from the laptop's power cable. This interference went away when the cables were moved apart.

Just after I got my first ever mac mini computer I realized that my PC webcam wont work...After a long search online I came to this webcam with Mac compatible Microphone at affordable price....It does its job,its small and nice looking and I am very happy with it-I am using it only on Skype so dont know how it fares with other applications... To me ,its 10/10.

Fine camera!
Low cost - good picture quality - worked fine with facebook caera service. Arrived fast in Greece! I am using it with my mac mini 2010. Works very well - no driver need.

Macally IceCam2 USB for Mac
This works fine with a Mac using Snow Leopard OS - dont know about Lion. Only down side is that it doesn't have auto focus - hence only four stars.
