That was a joke. Volume one is much better than Vol two. Tis ironic that the biggest criminals here are the production company that made this dvd as they have divided the film 'A very British Gangster' into 3 parts and included them in this '2-disc' set as half of the offering. Rip off ? There is only 3 genuine episodes here that could have been sold to us at a lower price without the lies attached. Caveat Emptor.
Donal Macintyre is the brave Journalist who goes where no other journalist dares to go..................
Wheres that??
To a local hair salon to have his hair high-lights touched up.
Regarding Donal's 'documentaries' I was amused by his 'documentary' about Naples, Dublin, Paris and Prague. There was alot of camera shots of Donal looking handsome and cool, and then looking perplexed, pensive (with the weight of the world on his shoulders). All these camera shots were recorded in an MTV high speed edit with cool music. Donal MacIntyre is cool.
I hate the word cool.
If you really want a proper documentary about criminals/ Gangsters watch Ross Kemp (Phil Mitchel's) documentaries. Embarassed as i am to say it, but even the annoying Danny Dyer has better 'Underworld' documentaries. I believe Donal's documentaries are badly planned, lack substance and are poorly executed (Just like his Maddie McCann interview piece (see Ur-tube) where Donal gives his opinion about how Maddie was abducted).
Selah
PS You can purchase 'A very British Gangter' on dvd for under a squid. So why bother splashing out on this not so cheap dvd collection.
