Product Description

The Mabu Cloth: A great cleaning cloth made from a unique woven fabric of eight layers, giving a strong, soft and thick cloth. It will not trap food particles and other debris and as such it is bacteria and stain resistant and has no sour odours. In addition it is easily cleaned in the washing machine making the Mabu Cloth fresh, clean and sparkling white again. One of the main materials used in its manufacture is wood pulp and as a result a portion of the sale of every Mabu Cloth is donated to Global ReLeaf & Tree Canada towards the planting of new trees.

These cloths are great. Takes a couple of days for the starch to wash out but after that they are super soft and super absorbent.

When dry they do a great job polishing the chrome around the sink; when wet they do a great job on the dishes. Great for wiping surfaces and other typical cloth jobs, and they last for ages.

Love that they are a made from Canadian tree fibre; when we've finished with them we just whack them in the wormery.

Sad that our supermarket stopped selling them but extremely pleased to see them here on Amazon :-)

They used to sell these in Waitrose - but for some reason stopped selling them. Found them again on Amazon. They last ages and are ecologically friendly. Last ages, really good feel and texture. Really good wiping up cloth for general sink side use. Would buy again over and over.

I LOVE these cloths! I am forever bleaching my normal dishcloths because of the smell that develops, and to get rid of stains, but not any more! These are made of natural wood fibres, and for some reason are incredibly difficult to stain!! I mopped up some spilled bolognese sauce, rinsed the cloth under the tap, and it was gone! I couldn't believe it! Don't know what the science is behind the wood fibres, but whatever it is, it works! It will take a super-special product to make me change from Mabu dishcloths now, that's for sure!

Super cloths, wash well also in the washing machine. They come out super clean and white. We have used them for a few years now. They make washing up a joy and useful all around the kitchen

This cloth is brilliant. It's quite stiff when new but as soon as you start using it it softens up and you can use it for pretty much anything. I normally never use a cloth to wash up but these cloths rinse out so well that - provided you do rinse them and don't leave them in a foody ball - they take ages before they get smelly and the wood pulp layering is soft enough to use on delicate surfaces but has enough scrubbing power that it removes most dried food with just a little rubbing. I mostly use mine for cleaning surfaces, but I've recently taken to using it as a facecloth - a brilliant gentle exfoliator.

These dishcloths are thick so they don't dry very quickly and they smell a bit after a while, but not nearly as bad as other dishcloths. Stains come out a bit when you run the dishcloths under the tap but not completely. After a machine wash all the stains do come out though.
