Our daughter got this when she was one year and ten months. She loved it right from the start. The scooter is of good, solid quality. The wheels are quite hard but I think still rubber, and she has never fallen down because of slippery road. The hand thingy is a bit too high for a 86 cm tall child but she can manage with it quite well. The scooter shows no signs of getting old after a month in quite hard use both in- and outdoors. :)
One thing worth mentioning is that unlike some other scooters in these Amazon reviews, the wheels of this scooter roll really smoothly. So of my daughter had a bit more muscles, she could actually take long slides with this. Another thing is that the scooter is indeed quite solid so it is also very safe for a beginning athlete.
The scooter is a month old now and she is not getting tired of it at all. Alltogether I think this is one of the best toys we have gotten her in terms of physical exercise and motorical development.

the wrong item was sent first,after e-mailing the mistake made the service & speed of rectifying the error made was very efficient and drama free,the product & customer service is very good value.
