i recieved the item the day after ordering great service i was a litlle hesitent as didnt know what it would be like but im really happy i wanted this for my cake decorating and icing i would recommend to anyone this is a great product and i cant wait to use it .....although it may need a wet tea towel or something underneath to stop it moving because its not going to spin properly without something under it ideal for tvs flower arranging and cake decorating overall a greta product thanks

This unassuming little contraption saved my marriage!
Ok I'm quite new to the world of bonsai; my little elms had been well looked after where I bought them from and was told most of the the leaves would fall of because of the change of environment. Sure enough they did, but they quickly started sprouting new buds, next thing, I was in proper trouble with the wife because I was spinning the trees round to tend to the pinching out and as I was doing so the bottom of the pots was scratching the (new) work top surface next to the window, seriously, big trouble in little china.
Back to the turntable, it is constructed from two identical plates held together in the centre. Inside is a ring very similar to one you will find in a microwave (with ball bearings at three points) sandwiched between them. It was a little stiff to spin at first even without the weight of a tree, so I carefully held open the edge a little and dripped some silicon grease onto the internal tracks the ball bearings run in, within a minute the thing was rolling around quite freely. This is a nice piece of kit that is cheap but very effective at this job.
And no divorce proceedings have been filed (not to my knowledge anyway)

Non rotating platform
Doesn't really rotate smoothly so not much use at all. Had to buy a new one so worth spending a little more on something that does what it says on the tin.

Doesn't rotate
Bought this for my partner who has taken up cake making, decoration but doesn't turn whether something is on it or not.. Pretty cheap looking. Poor product
