Excellent delivery - ordered 11.30 one day and delivered by Royal Mail 13.30 the next.
Torch is well made in aluminium and feels solid. Double O rings to keep water out. 2xCR123A Lithium batteries provided.
So does the torch deliver? Impossible to tell whether there are the full 1000 lumens but it easily outperforms an LED Lenser P7 (4xAAA)and Maglite LED 3D torches - both very powerful torches in their own right with good throw. So very very high power in a torch only 6 inches long that you can carry in a bag or coat pocket.
Do you need such a powerful torch? Well to misquote Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry 'this is a MTE M3-2I, the most powerful hand torch in the world'. That's as good a reason as any for buying one.
Any downside? Batteries not widely available and can be expensive - so buy some on-line in bulk.

I bought this torch as we often have to retrieve our cat from a field beside the house as we keep him in at night. We have had other LED torches but nothing like this - its power is unbelievable, and, even more so when you consider the size of it. It throws an intense beam over 200 yards producing daylight conditions and throws a powerful beam significantly further. It has six light settings including strobe/flash setttings that are easily activated by successive pushes to the control button in the end of the torch.
The torch looks and feels very robust, although, it is smaller than I expected. Additionally, it is designed to be weatherproof and not roll when it is put down - I have no reason to doubt either of these qualities. The ergonomics and construction are hard to fault.
Two observations though; the torch gets quite warm in use and don't bank on getting batteries in the high street for it. It uses either one 18650 or two CR123a lithium batteries which are easily obtainable on the Net at a reasonable cost. You can also buy rechargeable batteries but these have to be of the right type and quality - because of the load on them, incorrect or poor rechargeable batteries could explode. I cannot yet comment on battery life.
This is one torch where I really do heed the warning not to look into the beam - the Cree LED is blindingly bright but then that's what I bought it for!
In summary, a very well made torch that will last years and years and which performs well beyond expectations - it's truly brilliant! Recommended.

This torch is amazing! It's so bright and easy to use. The strobe feature works great as do all the settings. Externally, It could benefit from a few anti-slip pieces of rubber . Functionally, the different setting reset to the default 'full power' light once it's turned off (which is a little inconvenient if you don't want to blind everyone in a small area), but other than that, it is a really nice torch.

Bright Led Lights
Pros, perfect for use as bike lights on for Towpaths and unlit roads,
bad points, batteries dont last long, and rechargable ones last even less, 10 mins.
