this is an amazing motherboard for the price. personally i would chose this over any other motherboard you can grab your hands n for under <£100. it is spectacularly built, has extremely high end components, and has no flaws whatsoever. this with fx 8350, radeon 7850, 8gb ram etc makes a top notch gaming pc that can run any game, NO LAG and over 40fps

NO CONS, grab one now!!!!!

i got it as a replacement to an asus crosshair iv motherboard and it behaves amazingly well. the set up is an amd 6 core 3.2 black edition processor and 12 GB of ram, gt520 graphics card and plenty of hdd's. the motherboard can handle up to 6 e-sata drives or 5 hdd and a dvd rom or blue ray drive. it has 10 usb ports at the back, two of which are usb3 which are really handy for data transfer for large files.
it also has an auto or custom overclock function for the cpu and a lot of software on power conservation.

the disadvantage of the motherboard is that it does not have an external e-sata port for data transfer using an external drive.
i would definitely recommend this motherbord for an AM3+ or AM processor

This was a very good purchase. Fantastic setup, and it just works like a dream. For the price, can't really go wrong especially the feature and build quality. Highly recommended.

This is my first MSI board and it is an excellently made product and provides everything you could ask for, easy to install and the BIOS update is a real bonus.

I decided to attempt to build my first computer and set out reading reviews on the internet of various parts/chipsets.

I had absolutely no idea about computers so everything i was learning was completely new to me.

Computer shopper magazine did an article in their April 2012 edition of the magazine and this motherboard won their "best buy" prize award in the AM3+ mainboard range so i decided to buy it.

The item came packaged perfectly with a large amount of bubble-wrap and protective packaging to make sure it didnt get damaged, however the mainboard itself is fairly strong and sturdy.

Insertion into my case was a breeze and the helpful MSI mainboard manual was easy to understand (which helped me make sure i inserted everything in the correct place).

The motherboard i received came pre-installed with the latest version of the BIOS which is excellent and very easy to use/understand even for basic/new computer builders.

I cannot fault this motherboard in any way and i would purchase this again for another computer build if i was building another pc with a AM3+ chip (note the one i used on my first build was the AMD Bulldozer FX-6100)
