Highly recommended. My PC was built mid-2008. Core 2 Quad CPU @ 2.33GHz, 4GB DDR2 RAM, MS-7502 motherboard - pretty outdated specs. I replaced my old Nvidia 9600GT 1GB card with this unit and had only modest expectations as my PC is old. I can now play the likes of BF4 at 1920x1080P (graphics detail set to 'High') with very playable/smooth frame-rates. I was totally amazed!! Not only that, but it is ultra quiet and uses little power - so works well with my 400W PSU and doesn't need a PCIE power connection (unlike the 9600GT). The install and set-up was quick and hassle free. Works with my legacy BIOS and old motherboard flawlessly. I am sure my CPU and RAM (etc) are bottle-necking the performance, but it still performs superbly. Well worth the money. I was going to build a new system from scratch, but I'll hold off now for a couple of years. For a casual gamer I now have more than adequate gaming performance thanks to the GTX 750Ti.

This card has quite astonishing performance for the price and power draw. It needs no external power connectors from the PC's power supply- it will run perfectly just through the PCI-Ex16 slot. A PSU of 400w should be able to run this card comfortably (depending on your PC specs).

Low power and high efficiency also means low heat- the extra cooling of this overclocked card means it runs cool and quiet even in cases with poor airflow. I bought this card for exactly this reason to fit in my son's mATX case with just a small rear fan and very small air inlets. With MSI's afterburner software you can easily tweak the fan speeds if it needs extra airflow.

The performance is well beyond my expectations. it outperforms my own AMD 6950 (a high end card I paid £200+ for 3 years ago) by nearly 50% in MSI's included benchmarking software, enabling games like Planetside 2 to run on high settings at around 60fps.

I only award 5 stars to products that exceed my expectations, and for this graphics card it is well deserved.

Purchased this as a replacement for my sons ageing ATI 4850 that was pretty much on it's last legs and had started to sound like a vacuum cleaner (even after I cleaned the heatsink and fan; obviously it was being stressed too much with the modern games).

It was initially going to be a stopgap card, as I was going to eventually throw this in my HTPC/Plex server because it doesn't need that much power and my HTPC server only has a 400Watt PSU (Decent brand).

However, I was very surprised to see how well it rendered Skyrim on full settings. Now my son only has a monitor that runs 1640 x 1050, so it's not a HD screen. I imagine at 1920 x 1080 I would have had to turn down the settings a small amount. But usually things like shadows that aren't really noticeable.

I will be keeping it where it is for now, until my Son needs a new monitor as this card runs all current games on high settings (not ultra - not enough VRAM for that TBH) at his current resolution.

Even better is it consumes 120Watts less than his old card, makes far less noise, and provides a far better gaming experience.

If you're coming from a card that is 2-3 generations behind this one, then you will notice a difference.

If you have a high end card 1-2 generations behind this one, then no, you're better off getting something else.

However it's main selling point to me was it's insane power saving. 120 watts less compared to his old card. That's a big deal.

Cons:
1) its a long card so make sure you measure that it will fit!
2) If your PC case is not flat at the back (so the hdmi etc ports sit flush with the rest of the back case) you may not be able to plug in a hdmi cable as the port is too close to the side of the case. im going to have to bend the metal on the jutting out part of my case slightly to let the hdmi cable fit.
3)lack of sli support (for connecting 2 cards together)

Pros:
1) Runs cool when idle (25C) and under load (50C)
2) quiet
3) Runs modern games on ultra (crysis no lower than 30fps as its an horribly un optimised game, wolfenstein the new order 50-60fps, batman arkham city 45-60fps, HL2 full cinematic mod 2013 60FPS, skyrim 40-70fps)
Im let down by CPU (quad core q9550) and ddr2 ram.
4)Price is low for a good performing dx11 card.
5) no requirement for additional 6pin power supply cable as power is from the PCI-E port.

Purchased to upgrade a HP P6-2022UK pc, which has a PCI express 2.1 slot and a legacy bios which does not work with many of the latest video cards. This card has a bios switch which allows it to work with older PC's without a UEFI bios, and worked first time in my PC. Latest Maxwell chip is very energy efficient so does not require additional power, and yet has plenty of grunt for modern games at high resolution and high quality settings. It's a long double height card, so you need a decent size case, but fitted easily in the HP. If you have a HP PC, this card is strongly recommended. I tried the similar spec EVGA card, but without the bios switch, it would not boot.
