Started off fine but after six months stopped ringing every time when it got to zero. Eventually stopped turning at all and got stuck. Would not recommend it.

When set, the timer ticks as the time passes, but when the allotted time is reached it makes no sound whatsoever. Absolutely useless.

Don't waste your money

I bought this cute little egg timer to use for time-outs with my son. First thing I did was draw a black mark where "0" was because it's difficult to see it. I tried it out and it seemed to work alright. However, less than 24 hours after we got it, it was already broken. Something inside would rattle and you can't take it apart to see if you could fix it so, needless to say, it's just a piece of cute junk. I ended up buying a basic plain $5 kitchen timer that did the job this timer was supposed to do.

it's OK

It's not loud at all when it rings. I also don't trust the exact timing because there are no clear markings to line up the numbers. It's cute, though.

The egg timer has a cute expression, but it's difficult to see where the timer ends its rotation when you set it. We had to add a black dot to accomplish that.
