The tables have now been turned. The sWap Watch doesn't just double as a mobile phone - it's like having a multimedia centre strapped to your wrist.
Want to check your emails? Surf the internet? Listen to music? Take Pictures? Watch a movie? MAKE a movie? It does ALL of these.
If you really get bored you could even check the time or make a phone call. The watch will accept most SIM cards, so upgrading is hassle free and making calls couldn't be simpler - just plug in the hands free kit and you're good to go. If you really want to go one step beyond then you'll be ecstatic to hear that the watch is Bluetooth compatible. You won't even have to fork out for the headset as it's included in the package.

Basically it does everything the blurb says it does: It's a watch with all the features you get on a mobile phone.
Positive points:
* Functions as a phone / watch / camera / MP3 player / USB storage device;
* Convenience - it does all that without taking up space in a pocket;
* It does raise eyebrows (for better or for worse).
* PC / watch cable and interface work fine - just drag and drop music or files into the correct folder;
* Texting is surprisingly easy with stylus and touch screen.
Negative points:
* Relatively heavy although you get used to the weight after a while;
* The strap is not adjustable - you need a jeweller to take links out if it's too large for your wrist;
* It's pretty expensive;
* The distributor is UK based, but the manufacturer is Chinese, meaning the (English) instruction book is hard to follow;
* The supplied Bluetooth headset does not have a good mike;
* The headphones are quiet;
* The battery life is not great (~3 days) unless you have it in flight mode and meter can go from 2/3 full to empty in a few hours.
* Most of the accessories are bespoke and one wonders how easy it would be to get (for example) a replacement battery if the distributor goes out of business.
Overall it's good for those who make only occasional use of a phone and want something small and convenient. Miniaturisation of electronics is great, but there's still a little bit further to go.

The sWap phone watch must be in my Top 10 gadgets of 2009, Everything a mobile phone has, the sWaP watch has it, Any sim card will work apart from network 3, Great gadget, Great buy. Must have.

Everyday people cannot believe it when they see me use this amazing watch phone.
The time has arrived and I am so pleased with the performance, the memory is great, the video camera is clear and the photos even print well.
My kids love the mp3 player and cant wait for the childrens version to be released.
This is a must for anyone who loves using a mobile phone and in car its so easy to use. Even better on a motor bike
