Everybody keeps complimenting these two products once they enter our kitchen. Not only are they adorable, they are also very efficient. The toaster is quick and easy to use and so is the kettle. We would definitely recommend them.

I am very pleased with both of these items.
After years of coping with a two slot toaster for my family I finally saw sense and bought the 4 slice version. The toaster makes excellent toast although it can be slow on the first batch. The kettle can seem difficult to fill at first but I soon got use to it and now can work out if I have enough water by the feel/weight of the kettle. The best bit is the appearance, they look designer without the high price tag.

Noisier than I expected - tricky to boil a small amount of water and not as capacious as our last kettle when needing a large amount of boiling water

Very nice toaster and kettle set. The appearance is high class and expensive-looking.
The only negative is that the toaster seems to need "warmed up" and toasts more on one side of the bread than the other. I returned the first one as this was quite bad (the company were great with return/replacing the item) and this one is much better. Still seems to prefer the heat on one side more than the other though! Bid odd.
All in all, happy with it though and it's a nice feature to my kitchen.

Lovely looking works well, love the kettle and the way it pours. Toaster is good but ...when wiping the toaster with a soft damp cloth to my horrow found that the numbers on the heat setting dial wipe off!!!! Looks naf now with part of the numbers missing. Such a shame, come on morphy Richards it waswn't cheap so should withstand being cleaned!

Really nice looking kettle and toaster but we cannot get the toast very brown even when on the highest setting (number 9) ! Asked morphy richards and they said put it down again to make it browner !!

We've had this set for about two years now and both the kettle and toaster are still in perfect working condition and we've had no problems with either appliance.
Both items look great, the cream colour is great for neutral kitchens but more interesting than the standard steel or white you see so often. The curved shapes and rounded buttons/knobs also give a nice retro look which makes them great for people who want a more trendy look in their kitchen.
In regard to performance the kettle is great. It's easy to operate, boils quickly, doesn't require cleaning frequently and durability is great, as mentioned we've had ours about two years and we've never had any issues. The only down side for me is that it's a 1.5lt, I'd have preferred it be a larger capacity.
The toaster is "OK", the only reason I'm less positive about it than the kettle is because even after two years I still find it confusing to use! We don't use it all that often, so maybe if I used it daily I'd have got the hang by now but it just seems to have more buttons than it needs. I know one is for frozen bread from the icon but all the others I have to look up in the manual to remember as the icons just aren't obvious enough. I, like another reviewer also find that it's quite hard to get toast dark. This doesn't bother me much as I like "barely toasted" toast but whenever someone asks me for darker toast I use the grill instead as even the highest setting doesn't quite get there.

both toaster and kettle look very well in our kitchen right colour and shape. kettle is a little noisy but hey it boils water very well. ususal service from amazon 5star.

Dangerous and cheaply made!
The toaster is very uneven browning. The kettle releases lots of hot steam which burn you why poring, so expensive and rubbish! Wouldn't buy Morphy Richards ever again!
