At first I was skeptical as to whether a notebook could make me more attractive to women.. but I've been dating Tara from the accounts department now for 3 weeks ... joking aside these are great notebooks .. the smaller lines are making me a little neater .. the paper has a soft good quality feel to it - size fits well into a pc bag and is easy to carry around - I'll be buying more.

There have been a few complaints here about receiving the wrong covered notebook. I just want to point out that in the XL format only the softcover is available, despite what headings or product title may lead you to believe. If you want a hardcover moleskine at this size your best option is the A4 folio, Moleskine Folio Ruled Notebook A4 (Moleskine Srl) slightly bigger admittedly but the same price if you need to have a large hardcover notebook.

I was pleasantly surprised when this notebook turned up on my doorstep a couple of days before the due date. Excellent service from Amazon, the whole process was easy and the product was exactly as described. The soft cover is a delight and although it's not leather, it looks the business. There's a useful little pocket at the back which is able to hold the odd bit of loose paper, and although I have yet to test the full capacity yet, it seems like it will hold anything I need it to. The pages are of good quality paper and writing with a ball point leave no trace of ink on the reverse side, although if you are thinking of using a wide nib fountain pen it might be best not to use both sides, but there are loads of pages so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
Overall, it's a great journal and I would recommend it to anyone

great notebook with soft cover, ribbon to make finding your page easy and compartment at back to hold other pieces of paper. Good size, can fit into average size handbag.
