My first set arrived and worked perfectly for an hour or so then the left rear speaker started to crackle, popped and stop working, swapped the output over to confirm it was the output from the woofer-not speaker or cable.
Sellers response was fast and efficient and in no time at all a new setup arrived. This one worked on all channels but.... the left digit was missing from the front panel so from 1 to 9 nothing, from 10 to 19 it read 1 and 20 to 29 read 2 and so on.
Contacted the seller again and they offered refund (by return), reduction if i could "live with the fault" or get it repaired locally. I got agreement for a local repairer.to look at it. No spares available but he was able to make one working system from the two I had and it cost me £12. Went back to seller with cost and they, in my opinion, insulted me by offering me £10, two pound less than I had to pay to get their faulty product repaired.
After all my efforts and inconvenience I was furious and demanded a full refund! The "supervisor" revised his offer to the full amount and so I could get on with my life, I accepted the offer. The customer service had been excellent up to the point of this offer and the product good value for money with good sound reproduction.
I am now worried about how long it will last but still think the product is good value. As a footnote, the plug adaptor from 2 to Uk 3 pin is not inside the box that the system comes in. It is buried in the outer box with all the packing-easy to throw out if you don't look for it!!
