I've bought a fair few cheap tools on Amazon, eBay and the like; some are poor quality, some just don't work at all.
This was a nice surprise though - nicely machined aluminium body, nylon pins seem quite solid and it can be configured to hold all the watch cases I've tested it with.

A nice little device. I think it could have been made even better by having some form of padding or patterning on the plastic pins that hold the watch case.
I find watches often slip and, (perhaps it's to prevent damage,) the watch has to be resited, to work on it. It might be easier to use as I get more used to it.

This case holder came very quickly today but I wish it hadn't. The item I received from MCLOCKS had been clearly used (there were tooling marks all over the aluminium vise) and was quite dirty. The pins sit quite loosely in their sockets and cant even at light tightening. The machining quality of this device is apalling, I could have made a better vice with a mill and a lump of aluminium. The crowning achievement of idiocy in this item's design is that the knurled bolt that's used to tighten the vise grip extends to lower than the holder's base, meaning the damned thing can't even stand on a level desk. I kept mine because despite looking like a reject it still worked, and the uneven base doesn't affect me as I mount it in a larger vise anyhow, but if was worth more than twice the postage cost I'd have returned it.

Good, but with slight drawbacks
Needs to experimented or 'fiddled' with on first use. I have a Seiko SQ100 waterproof watch which always seemed to cost a fortune when the battery needed replacing. Read more

It is easier to hold the watch in your hand as this device offers NO additional fuctionality!
