Bought this bed / tent pack for my 5 year old son, who loves it. It is a great fun bed and he sleeps well in it. Putting it together was ok - nice to have a product where all the screws etc were there and all the holes line up / everything fits. Ours came in 3 boxes - 1 with the bed itself in, 1 with the 'underneath bit' and 1 with the tent pack stuff. Make sure you read both instruction books together, as I assumed I could just build the bed and support separately and then put them together, but it isn't quite as easy as that!

Now it's all up to my mind it's a bit wobbly - the legs are quite slim, which seems to give the bed a bit too much movement for my liking.

My real issue with the bed is finding the right mattress. It doesn't take a standard UK single mattress, as advertised. The bed is 3ft wide, but well over 6'3" [standard single mattress size] long - so we have ended up with a gap at the end of the mattress that we are currently stuffing with cushions. What's more, there is a limit on how deep the mattress can be for safety reasons, which isn't detailed in the description or the instructions [but there is a safety line on the bed ladder itself]. The first mattress we bought new for it was therefore unusable, as it was far too deep. We have had to buy a second single mattress which is only 6 inches deep [max mattress depth possible we measured as 7 inches].

So as long as you don't mind a bit of wobble and you are careful about the mattress you buy you'll be ok!
