Product Description
These are perfect lights for lighting up your Christmas tree or for decorating the home or garden at any time of year. The multifunction controller has a memory, so when you turn them off and on again it remembers the last setting you were on. There are 8 functions in total: steady on, combination, in waves, sequential, slo glo, chasing/flash, slow fade & twinkle/flash. There's 5 metres of wire from the transformer (indoor) to the controller (which can be outside) and the LED string is suitable of indoor or outdoor use. Black wire is perfect for trees etc.

Note the tree size guide is just to give an indication of our recommendation for Christmas trees, it depends on your preference for the amount of sparkle on your tree! And there's no reason not to use more than one set on a tree.

When the box says these lights are super bright, it's not wrong! Maybe it's because these lights are OK for outdoor use, they certainly shine very bright indoors. I bought them for an indoor window and know they are easily bright enough to shine far into the night. You could almost land a plane with these things.
The lights themselves are mini LEDs so are much smaller than average bulbs and so will nestle into a tree very easily. The 8 different functions mean you can choose from alternating hot and cold colours to flashing and chasing or glowing on and off. I would have preferred something a little more like soft twinkling, so if you are after elegant and subtle ambience these lights might be a touch too disco for you. Having said that, they look lovely just in the basic "on" position, so should keep everyone happy.
Considering the size of the lights, the cable is very sturdy, can easily withstand some hefty manipulation and fixing, so I would feel comfortable leaving these lights in place all year round. However, if you want to use these with a real Christmas tree you might find the cable a little tricky to manipulate without losing some needles along the way.
For the price, these are excellent value for money and at just 0.06 watts per bulb (making the total energy to run them less than 5 watts per hour) are great for saving pennies and the planet.

We are very pleased with this set of lights. They are just right for our 6ft Christmas tree. You get a good choice of light sequences from the attached control box, so we chose a different one each day for a different look. Choose from still, twinkle, slow glow, flashing and many variations of these. They're well made, not too dazzling, low energy consuming and of course being diodes,you'll never have to start a mid-Christmas trawl around the shops for that elusive fuse bulb again! Couple this with the great amazon price and you have a real bargain here. If you're after a decent set of no maintenance multi-coloured fairy lights for your tree or for other decorative purposes, you've found them. Go for it.

Nice purchase
My own old Christmas lights broke this year so this item was a replacement.
