Out of all of the Lalaloopsy dolls, Sahara is the one my 3 year old daughter asked for the most. I'd been on the lookout for her for awhile. She has a bit of a hefty price on her online because she is limited edition. My daughter thinks she is a princess because she has a crown. She had also got Pita the Little and kept asking when we were going to get her big sister. Our Walmart is horrible in the LaLa section. I think its a 4 foot area and it is extremely limited. We hardly ever have big dolls and when we do there are maybe 2 and a couple of mermaids and only half of the Littles. When I went to my dad's house this weekend I visited their Walmart and they had at least double or triple the Lala section including some silly hair dolls. What did my eyes behold but Miss Sarhara Mirage!!! My daughter instantly freaked out and decided that Sahara was hers. She also tried begging for the Silly hair Bea, but I told her no. Much to her dad's hestitation, we purchased Sahara for about 24 bucks because she is limited. I'm not sure what limited means exactly, but I guess they can slap 5 extra bucks onto the price because people, myself included go, "oh I'd better grab that now before I miss my chance" Regardless of what I feel about the "limited" label, the doll is gorgeous. She has lavender colored hair done in a top pony (much like Pix E. Flutters) on the pony is a golden crown with dark pink "gems". She has a darker skin tone which makes her cute little cheeks candy pink. Her outfit is beautiful she has hot pink chiffon puff sleeves with light orange trim and a hot pink satin "vest" with gold rick rack trim and a middle "belt" of the same materials with golden embroidery. The rest of the outfit including pantaloons are satin royal purple with a slight paisly print in a darker purple so it is subtle. Her shoes are the cutest little maryjane genie slippers and they actually stay on pretty well. I love this doll! Glad we found her.
