For ideal voice capture, installation of the microphone head can be located/placed on the sunvisor, 'a' pillar or on the users clothing with the microphone clip also included.
Plugs directly into the back of the above models. No complicated connections.
Microphone cabling is 10ft (3m) long approx so can be hidden during installation.
Safety advice: Please ensure cabling is secure when installed. Keep any unsecured cabling away from the steering column and gearstick.

This mic was really easy to install and has great sound when in use. I find the sound cllarity.to be far better than the in unit one.

Wow! this bit of kit is the biz.
I bought a Sony MEX-BT3700U a wile ago to replace my broken Renault stereo. As I have an iPhone I wanted a bluetooth enabled device so I could stream music and make calls without having to break the law. The Sony itself is great, and at speeds of up to 30 mph the in-built mic works a treat. However, above 30 mph the road noise is just too loud and the people I was talking to struggled to hear me. So I got this beauty. Easy to fit to the Sony, loads of wire for thoughtful routing, a neat clip for the sun visor and no more road noise. Voila! The perfect item for the Sony MEX-BT3700U if you have a noisy car.
It arrived the next day too.

This is a good mic, very clear sound. Excellent solution to the mic on the stereo being on the rear of the unit. What a great idea. The delivery was quick and the price was good, worth the money.
