The inside of the washer & dryer both spin when the button is pushed. Each can fit a couple tiny items like socks, washcloth, bikini, shorts (not big enough for most of the clothes) The doll & accessories are cute. First day I got it, my 5 yr. old granddaughter played with it for about 15 min. & then created a laundry room behind the glamour house - under the top floor's overhang. She played with the doll for about an hour & she likes the accessories with the washer & dryer. I think I like the washer & dryer more than she does. Perhaps she didn't want to think about doing laundry - just setting up & changing barbie clothes!

As with any Barbie toy, the durability and quality is not the greatest however it provides hours of imaginative playtime. Our daughters loved it and it fits perfectly in their new Barbie house. We took away the small pieces that it came with such as the iron and the small laundry detergent bottle since they are a chocking hazard for our youngest. All in all an excellent purchase and addition to our ever expanding Barbie theme collection.

Bought my grandaughter the 4 story doll house for Christmas and she loves getting the furniture to go in it, asked specifically for this Laundry set, which surprised me. She plays with the doll house daily!
