Product Description

Pull out spray make cleaning pots and pans a doddle. Ceramic disc technology prevents maddening drips. Chrome plated solid brass body and a 10 year warranty.

This tap also features laser inscribed H & C indicators on the tap lever.

Working requirements

Our taps work on water systems that produce a minimum of 0.5 bar water pressure, however to get the best results we recommend using a water system that produces 1.0 bar pressure. This can be achieved by using one of the following systems:
- Combination boiler systems
- Gravity fed systems (only with a pump)
- Megaflow system
- Pumped hot water systems
- Un-vented hot water systems
- Standard pressurized hot water cylinder type systems

3.0 out of 5 stars Looks nice but quality suspect! 19 July 2013

After reading only positive reviews on here I purchased this tap feeling pretty confident and happy. It looks good and exactly what I wanted in style.
However, after my plumber fitted it he was concerned and bemused by the fact that the whole body turned when swivelling the spout. He had never come across this before but he assumed it was what it was meant to do as the movement was so obvious.
Then, two days later we find out that this movement causes the taps to loosen the nuts underneath and I ended up with a flooded cupboard. Thank goodness we caught it in time!
My plumber has since tightened it as much as possible but theres still some play in it and I'm nervous about it leaking again as theres still some 'wetness' around the pipes underneath!
I move the spout as little as possible and have contacted Atorre for information and possible return of goods.
Whatever the outcome, I don't think I'll be keeping this tap as I cant keep checking every day and would be concerned when away on holiday!
I would think twice about purchasing this item!

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb upgrade from bog-standard tap 2 April 2014

Thinking about having a go and fitting your own tap? Do it! Some help in my review below...

My existing kitchen tap was leaking, couldn't be fixed, and was frankly upsetting me due to its rubbish design for a long time anyway. My plumber offered to fit his own taps, given my views on what most people think is an acceptable design of tap, I declined and, armed with ZERO plumbing experience but the nagging feeling in the back of my head that "it's not exactly rocket science" (and youtube at my side - this is invaluable), I set about fitting it myself.

Firstly, if you are reading this review, then your research for the best tap on Amazon has probably come to an end. It's a superb product; it feels weighty and well-engineered. The springy arm feels solid with a small amount of flexibility (I believe it's chrome) and there is an internal shower hose to which the head is connected made from plastic, so it draws lightly from the arm to give you that pull-out feature.

SIZE

The tap stands at about 38cm tall (measured from sink surface to top of the tap's arch), and the shower head sits at about 20cm from the surface of the sink which is much higher than your average tap, giving you more space to stack dishes. You will need an absolute minimum of 45cm clearance above the tap (e.g. if you have cabinets fitted over your sink), or better still 50cm for it to feel comfortable. Most kitchen cabinets fitted above sinks would give you at least that much - but do check.

Compared with the other style of pull-out tap that arches over and has a bracket that crosses the arch, it is probably not as big...

- Not suitable for fitting to a worktop as the thread is only 30mm long, therefore only suitable for mounting directly to a sink.
- Tap head made of chromed plastic - very cheep and toy-like and will damage the first time it sees lime scale remover or intensive cleaning.
- Seller refused point-blank to pay for return delivery in a blunt email, even though this tap is not fit for purpose as nowhere in the advertisement does it state it cannot be fitted to a worktop!.
-Return postage is over 12 plus I paid 4.98 for delivery initially which would be deducted from my refund. In other words, I would lose over 17 returning the tap: A good, stealth way of deterring returns.
- Seller has now reduced the price of this item and started to deliver for free. Draw your own conclusions...
