I, perhaps naively, assumed that ALL babies just automatically take to bottles at any time. My baby proved me wrong. From 6 weeks I tried to give you the odd bottle. She was not having it. Over the following months, I tried 5 different bottles types with various teats and the most she ever took was about 10 ml. I have to get her on the bottle as I have to return to work. Then I discovered MAM…. this is the only bottle to use alongside breastfeeding in my opinion. She did require a little bit of encouragement, but now will take two full feeds a day from the bottle, she latches on so well to the teat which is designed perfectly to fit comfortably and naturally into babies mouth. I highly recommend MAM to anyone in this situation. My next baby will also be a MAM baby. I did however, buy the fast flow teats and had to replace them with the number two teats as the flow is super fast on the three.
