Paradise Lost

The rape and murder of a young, white schoolteacher, leads to the arrest of her black boyfriend Milton Jones. But as
accusations of racism begin to fly, new evidence establishes Milton's innocence,
turning him from suspect to witness. Now the team must infiltrate a hostile and suspicious community to catch the real killer.

Curriculum Vitae

A working mother arrives home to find her baby girl dead and her nanny missing. The nanny is on the run, so it seems cut and dried. But the deeper they look, the more complex it becomes. With the discovery of identity theft, babies sedated with cannabis, and skeletons in family closets, it becomes hard to separate the innocent from the guilty.

Mirror Image

The high profile murder of a Metropolitan Police Commander and his wealthy wife puts Walker, Connor and the team under pressure to get a fast result. Missing jewellery indicates a burglary gone wrong, but with relatives set to profit from their deaths, the police focus is on the family; in particular identical twin sons, Michael and Rory.

Lynda La Plante has a phenomenal talent for writing taut, compelling drama. I thoroughly enjoy The Commander Lynda La Plante - The Commander - Vols. 4-6 with Amanda Burton however Trial & Retribution seems to just have that something extra. In DCI Roisin Conner she has created a wonderful, ice-queen detective unparallelled on British Television and Victoria Smurfit plays the character to perfection. The relationship between career driven Roisin and old school CS Mike Walker (David Hayman) is an ongoing source of tension which often underpins the great story lines. Great drama and a great DVD seet.

Now this I give a low grade due to how it is packed.
It really annoys me how companies don't follow through.
I have box sets one & two both match look great called VOL 1 & 2 now this comes out suppose to be next set but packages all different & called PART THREE not Volume 3 OK I am being picky here but as a serious DVD collector nothing worse than things like this when your collecting a set.
Other than that FANTASTIC TV DRAMA I miss many when on TV due to my job so really loved watching them but DO PLEASE try & stay the same when building a set it is very off putting.
