Book Description

Booking a holiday - or any other sort of travel - is getting easier every day, using the internet. But at the same time the ever-growing multitude of offers on the internet makes the booking and planning of a trip much more complex. Nowadays the internet provides a huge range of offers and it is no longer necessary to rely only on the nearest travel agency, where the offer is limited to a handful of hotels from a catalog.

Now you can get all the necessary information on your travel destination, hotels and accommodation, activities in the area and regional specialties yourself on the internet, and at the same time you can save a lot of money doing your own booking through the internet.

The only question remaining is how to find the best offer for the best price.

This guidebook will show you how. Lots of tips and tricks will help you to obtain as much information as possible and to save a lot of money at
the same time when you experience the holiday of your dreams. You will find tips on the booking process, and also additional tips and tricks that will help make the traveling itself easier using the internet or a smartphone.

You may discover some things you already know about in this book, but as it is a general guidebook, basic information will be provided in addition to special tips and tricks. Furthermore, this guidebook is kept brief, as all you want to do is book a holiday and not to study the basics of quantum physics.

4.0 out of 5 stars Full of Information! 20 Mar. 2014
By Desirae - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
Luxury at the cheapest price is true to its name and is full of tips for airline travel. There is quite a bit of information that I would not have thought of for international travel before I read this book. The author, Daniel Klockenbrink, made sure to cover all of the bases for travel.

Some of the chapters and topics such as using international SIM cards, and international drivers permits were things that I had never thought of before but would be necessary information to review if you were to travel abroad. Buying a foreign SIM card would almost be essential to prevent huge roaming charges for anyone planning to use there phone like normal. So learning this was a great tip for cheaper travel.

There is also information to save you time, which is essential money. Tips for where you should go at the airport and in which order so you save yourself the trouble of running back and forth. What things you should pack in your carry on or in your luggage.

Altogether, Daniel Klockenbrink, covered almost all the information that you would want to know for traveling by air. There are tips for saving you money and time just as the book title says. This book is a good resource if you plan to start traveling and really don’t know where to start. I would recommend this book to read for travelers hoping to save a little money and time.

5.0 out of 5 stars helpful and educational 7 Mar. 2014

I found the information given me in Luxury at the cheapest price to be highly informative. I plan to use this information to help me when I decide in the future to go an any special trips. Planning for a vacation, unexpected need to go out of state, business meeting or ay other function that might require me to travel. There are multiple ways to go about setting up arrangements needed.

You can choose to investigate the information yourself by using the internet to search out the accommodations you would need. The drawback to using the internet is the lack of personal contact with a specialist to help you get the best deals for your money. This options makes you completely responsible to take care of such things as visa’s and required documentation. There are travel agencies that are available to help you through out the planning and help you get the necessary papers in order. You especially want to make sure that you have the right time zones and seasons in sync with the destination of your trip.

Finding opportunities for cash back programs is another option to be aware of. Many sources have discounts, reimbursement, packet deals that can benefit you to be able to do more with you money. Such as ordering online will offer deals that aren’t available else ware. Booking flights can be tricky as you have to be aware of time zones, transit areas, check in locations, loading zone, baggage area and much more.
Other resources that can be used are travel agents, online booking portals, and websites of accommodation.

The information covers every aspect of arranging the travel plans, things you need to be aware of such as times and where main stations you need to check in at are. Making plans for multiple needs for your trip whether it be for renting a car, reservations at hotels, museums tickets or just site seeing there is a plan to help you set it up including emergency needs for your phone or other devices. Over all I have found this book to be educational and helpful for the many reasons for travel and to be able to do it on my budget.

4.0 out of 5 stars Luxury on a budget! 3 Mar. 2014
By jp - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I have to be honest here and admit that I am NOT a frequent traveler. I have taken a couple smaller trips now and then. I was always very Leary about traveling.
This book, although a bit repetitive at times, breaks down every possible route of travel possible. The author discusses issues I would have NEVER thought of, not in a million years. For example, time zone changes just never crossed my mind. He points out the you could very well board a plane of April 4th and get off that plane on April 6th. I also never considered buying a SIM card for another county.
Another aspect of this book I really did find helpful in this book was that Klockenbrick listed several websites to refer back too. ”Luxury at the Cheapest Price” is very well written.
When I do travel I will definitely reference this book. The chapters are broken down so that the reader can always go back and reference whatever topic is relevant to their travels.
Enjoyable and informative

5.0 out of 5 stars Best ebook for newbie travelers 28 Feb. 2014
By Tiffany Robinson - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
This eBook is very informative and helpful for anyone looking to do any type of travel in the future. I myself have not ever traveled anywhere very far from my home state nor have I ever flown on an airplane and never plan to. I am a feet on the ground type of person, if you can't get there by driving, I ain't going. Although after reading this I would almost consider booking a trip with the help of this eBook, it really simplifies what could be a very difficult process. But for those of you brave adventurous folks this can be extreamly helpful. It discusses everything from website to help you book your trip to tips and shortcuts when actually taking your trip.
Booking travel plans using the internet have gotten easier but also more complex and compared to using a travel agent there are more choices of hotels and other accomedations. You can save a lot of money booking your own trip through the internet, the key is to find the best offer at the best price. Most of your needed sites can be easily found by entering certian phrases that decribe what kind of trip you want to book. Just keep in mind that if you do all the arrangements yourself then you have a personal responsibility to cover all the bases such as flights, hotels, rental cars, activies, etc. If there is a cancelled or delayed flight you must manage the arrangements of changing your flight plans. Always do your homework on travel requirements, regulations, visa requirements, health risk and necessary vaccinations that may be needed for your destination. There are travel agancies on the internet that specialize in booking trips via the internet, the advantages to using those agancies are special bookings, low prices, high specialization, special offers, and specialist knowledge of different destinations. A big advantage is the immediate responses to any questions either by phone or internet and most are on a 24/7 basis.
In this eBook it goes into detail of the importance of double checking dates of your flights especially if you are traveling between time zones, checking the weather of your travel destination, what to be aware of when booking your flights such as stopovers, times for transfer between flights, changing terminals, and much much more. It gives you losts of information about code-share flights, cash-back programs, frequent flyer programs, no-frills airlines, parking options, check-in procedures, boarding passes, advanced check-ins, online check-ins, self service check-in kiosks, and security screenings. Most airports have lounges to provide a comfortable way to pass the time between flights or on stopovers. Some lounges are exclusive to members only, other charge a small enterence fee, some even offer food and drinks at no cost. The biggest advantage to the lounges are the seperation from the hustle and bussle of the overall airport operation and the noise. It gives you websites to visit before your flight to determine what seat you would prefer once on the plane. It also tells you about apps for your smartphone or tablets that can help you with booking flights, reviewing hotels, getting information on your flight, preforming online check-ins, and even using your smartphone as your boarding pass. Some airports even offer their own apps that offer a wide varity of information such as info on the airport, flights, shopping, maps, and restaraunts among many many other important information.
If you plan on traveling there are also "passes" you can obtain that give you discounts to some of the main attractions and sights in the area you will be traveling to. Most places have different passes for transportation and historical buildings. This eBook also discusses weighing your options of renting Villas verses a boring hotel room. You want to always be aware of fraud and do your homework. It also discusses having all the necessary insurances, which ones are more important and which ones are a personal preference to have. If you plan on driving while in a foreign you will need to look into getting an international driver's license or international driving permit and this eBook gives you details you will need to obtain those. So if you plan on taking a trip and are unsure of all the fine details you need to be aware of, along with tips and tricks to make your travels a little less stressful then this is the eBook to get.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great book :) 10 Feb. 2014

Luxury at the Cheapest Price - Dr. Daniel Klockenbrink
I absolutely dread when the holidays or time off comes around because that means I have to start working on vacation plans. As a wife and mother of 2 young children, this can sometimes be a challenging task as I have to find a safe, nice, yet family friendly hotel for my family to stay in. The room needs to be big enough that we can setup my son’s playpen, have plenty of room for all the bags we pack (I bring the whole house with me!) and still be able to easily move around our room. I need to make sure there are plenty of family friendly restaurants for our family to eat at and depending on the reason for the trip, fun things to do with our children. Of course before I start all of these searches I have to figure out what our “vacation budget” will and make it work with everything we have to do! Saving money is always a plus when we vacation! I chose to read Luxury at the Cheapest Price because I spring break for my daughter will be coming soon and I want to plan a great vacation for my family and I thought why not give this book a go and see what I can do.
As the book points out, going to a travel agency is now a thing of the past, while there may be a few offices around that you can still go to, the internet is now the go to place when you are planning a vacation. When you use the internet to plan your vacation, it is important to remember that when you use the internet to plan your own vacations then you are completely responsible for all aspects of planning your trip so make sure that you read everything on the page very well. It is important to remember that you will not receive an information packet about your destination from the internet so you must do your own research to find out what documents you may need for the trip, as well as gaining information about your destination. It is also good to note that you do not have to do it completely alone that you can find online travel agency to help you with your planning, if you do not feel comfortable doing everything on your own.
One of the things I enjoyed most about this book is that it offers websites to help you save money while you are on your trip. We all know when we vacation we try to throw a little shopping in there too so having websites that offer cash back programs is a big help in the money saving department. The book offers some things that may seem like common sense to those of us, who have been using the internet for booking trips for a while, but it is information that those who are new could really benefit from and having a little refresher never hurt anyone. There are helpful hints on how to book accommodations as well. Using the internet to do this will give you the opportunity to review what other customers think of the hotel as well as find the best price. Luxury at the Cheapest Price also offers this. As pointed out in the book, if you have a smartphone there are apps that can be downloaded to help you book hotels easier and they really are helpful. My family actually uses them. There is information offered if you are traveling to foreign countries as well. I will most defiantly make use of the websites offered by this book.
Information on flying is available but as I am terrified of flying and prefer to do all my traveling by car that section was not that important to me but I know that if I ever do decide to start flying I can look into this book for the information on how to best go about finding the best prices. This also applies to renting a car. There is information available in the book but as I prefer to drive my own vehicle this information was irrelevant to me but may be helpful to you
