About the Author
Dr. Jill Nash grew up in (arguably) the best place in Britain - The Lake District. Always one for fun and adventure she trained as an outdoor pursuits instructor before globe trotting all over the world on scuba-diving expeditions and studying in various parts of France. The sense of adventure has never left her and after a short stint as an academic, she packed her bags and wondered the world - this time with her new husband. The most incredible adventure? 'Definitely diving the Blue Hole in Belize and getting married in Italy of course!' Carlo Nash also a fellow Northerner (but with a family history in Italy - a much guarded family secret!) grew up in Bolton, Lancashire. His Northern accent and penchant for action thrills attracted his nomadic wife. Carlo is actually a professional footballer, which allows him to travel the world during the 'off season', but unfortunately he cannot partake in all the dangerous activities - he persuades his wife to instead! He is the man behind the lens, painstalkingly making sure every shot and every angle is perfect. A bit like his game really. Perfect travel companion - naturally - and best trip? Probably hiking on the Great Wall of China - 'it s certainly the best pre-season training imaginable'.
